After spending 22 years in the London and Paris fashion worlds with cutting-edge designers, Ermine Norodom is now channeling her expertise in feminine elegance and luxury to her new home in the Kingdom of Cambodia.
She opened Le Marais in Phnom Penh as a boutique to showcase a delight to the senses, where the latest looks in Europe’s big cities stand beside the usual fashion biggies. Her boutique is designed to combine Khmer refinement and Parisian chic, to share her vision of a woman who is modern and attractive, refined and subtle. She has made it a haven of simplicity and put in vogue fashion within the reach of Cambodia’s women of elegance, reviving the former Paris of the Orient.
Located in the heart of Phnom Penh, the Le Marais Hotel offers elegant rooms and spacious suites in a villa typical of the 1960s’ New Khmer Architecture.
The setting is unique, the atmosphere warm and the service professional.
Returning from a city tour, you can chill out at the poolside (for hotel guests only) or enjoy the period photographs that grace the walls of the villa. With tuk-tuks waiting just outside unless you prefer to simply take a stroll the Royal Palace and National Museum are in easy range. Or why not Sisowath Quai where you can enjoy a quick one at one of the capital’s hip watering holes?
